Before beginning my design career, I captured moments in time as a photographer specializing in medium format color. But the idea of being a gallery artist was too personal - Art can be as difficult to explain as it is to create. A part of you is on display for the world to critique. I needed to find another side of myself to build a career.
That's when I first stepped in the world of design. With art, the process is just as important as the finished work. Not so with design. The built world you create is all there is. How you got there isn't what's important. Over the last 18 years, that single difference has been the most challenging and strangely rewarding part of my career.
Aside from my work, I have a husband, a daughter, and 3 dogs. I love seeing live music, traveling and laughing with friends.
